This Thursday, Salvamar Adhara escorted a canoe with 90 migrants on board that was sailing about nine miles south of the island to the port of La Restinga, in El Pinar (El Hierro), Maritime Rescue sources told Europa Press. .
The migrants, 89 men and one woman, all of sub-Saharan origin, disembarked after 4:00 p.m. in apparent good health, so transfers to health centers have not been ordered.
