The cleaning services acted in the places with the greatest influx of people. Thus, a mechanical sweep and washing was carried out in the area of the two stages where the concerts of the Canarian orchestras and DJs were held; The parks of the Los Cristianos Cultural Center were washed; the sweeping of bus stops; the washing of the Plaza de los Cristianos y los Playaros; the sweeping of Paseo Pérez Valero and washing of the benches in Plaza Pedro García Cabrera; as well as a reinforcement in garbage collection in different points of Los Cristianos.
Fátima Lemes, mayor of Arona, stated that “we are on the path to improving public services, especially cleaning, which still receive some incidents, but we are on the right track and this is one of the actions that demonstrate the great efforts that have been made.” “They do to keep the municipality clean and return to normality as soon as possible.”

Clari Pérez, first deputy mayor of the Arona City Council and councilor for Public Services, Environment and Sustainability, highlighted that “the work of the cleaning area has been commendable because these are festivals with a large accumulation of public, which generate important quantities of garbage and waste.
