The Cabildo of Tenerife, within the area of Natural Environment, Sustainability and Security and Emergencies, has approved the commission to the public company Gesplan for the execution of the information service at the Los Pedregales Visitor Center in the Teno Rural Park (Buenavista from North).
The investment is around 288,000 euros and has an execution period of three years, the corporation details in a note.
The Minister of Natural Environment, Sustainability and Security and Emergencies, Blanca Pérez, explains that “the Los Pedregales Visitor Center is oriented towards information, conservation and dissemination of the values of the park, providing personalized attention to its visitors.”
In addition, it offers the implementation of informative activities in educational centers, always upon request and subject to availability.
The services covered by the assignment include the opening of the visitor center, reception, attention and information to visitors, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of visitors.
Likewise, it serves as support in immediate intervention in emergency situations and coordination with the director of this service and the Masca Ravine Self-Protection Plan.
The assignment also includes the supervision, coordination and technical direction of the service and maintenance of the telecommunications system.
With the assignment made to Gesplan, the guidelines of the Master Plan for the Use and Management of the Teno Rural Park (PRUG) are complied with, relating to guaranteeing access and dissemination of information about the Rural Park to both visitors and inhabitants. of the same.
