The campaign of trade bonds 2023driven by La Laguna City Councilin collaboration with the Federation of Urban Areas of the Canary Islands (Fauca) and La Laguna Commercial Zone, has exhausted the 53,333 vouchers put on sale since last November.
“These vouchers, with a cost of 15 euros and exchangeable for a value of 30 euros, have already been exchanged in the majority in the 381 establishments adhering to the proposal, which has meant a direct injection of more than 1,600,000 euros in commercial premises and the lagoon restaurant sector,” explained the mayor of the municipality, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez.
The Councilor for Commerce of La Laguna, Leticia Villegas, indicated that, of the total amount exchanged, 1,540,212 euros correspond to the general bonuses, while 128,794 euros correspond to the special bonuses of La Noche en Blanco, in which special exchange prices that reached up to 40 euros in value.
Villegas recalled that people who have purchased these vouchers and have not yet used them will have until January 5 (before Twelfth Night) to make their purchases at the stores included in the campaign. The list of available establishments is on the website https://bonocomerciolalaguna.com/.
In this edition, the La Laguna City Council has made the largest public investment in the history of this proposal, with nearly 900,000 euros of subsidy, which will become 1,800,000 euros once 100% of the exchange of acquired bonds is reached. .
