A 67-year-old man and woman were injured in a car accident that occurred this Thursday on the Agua García highway, in the municipality of Tacoronte, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1- 1-2.
The event occurred shortly before 09:30 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert reporting that a vehicle had collided with a wall at the address mentioned above and its occupants had been trapped in the inside.
Once there, firefighters freed the driver and passenger, who were then assisted and transferred by SUC health personnel to a hospital. The man had moderate injuries and the woman had mild head trauma.
The Local Police collaborated with the intervening services and the Civil Guard instructed the corresponding procedures.
