The Board of Social Services and the Insular Institute of Social and Socio-Health Care (IASS), dependent on Council Insular, held the annual meeting of the day centers and services Tenerifean initiative that is resumed after a five-year hiatus to generate a closer connection between all groups through meetings, training, workshops and as a space for relationships between minor users.
The facilities of El Valito Day Center, in El Fraile, welcomed 80 minors from day service centers The Board and Anaga, both managed by Aldeas Infantiles, the day center Guaidyl, from Granadilla de Abona, and La Orotava, Guía de Isora and the aronero service itself.
Fátima Lemes, mayor of Arona, highlighted that “uniting experiences and enhancing and valuing the activities of the day center is important, not only for families, but for children. These types of centers are fundamental for their development and education, they promote normal growth and conciliation and family life. The councilor highlighted “the work done by Arona and the effort to improve services, provision and quality.”
