The CSIF union has criticized this Tuesday the situation of “chaos” that exists in the Post Office service on the island of Tenerife due to the lack of staff and excessive workload, which causes delays in deliveries.
The union formation has insisted in a statement that “the lack of personnel is also affecting the job security of employees.”
For this reason, CSIF Canarias has asked Correos to take urgent measures to solve this situation and has demanded the hiring of new staff to cover the existing deficit and thus guarantee a quality service for users.
Likewise, it has asked the management of Correos to dialogue with union representatives to find joint solutions to the problems that affect the service in Tenerife.
CSIF Canarias has committed to continue fighting for the labor rights of Correos employees in Tenerife, while warning that it will take the necessary legal actions to guarantee that workers’ rights are respected and the reported irregularities are resolved.
