The Salvamar Adhara boat escorted a cayuco in which about a hundred immigrants were traveling to El Hierro this Sunday morning, after it was located about 24 kilometers south of the port of La Restinga on the aforementioned island, they have informed EFE sources of Maritime Rescue.
The Salvamar Adhara came to the rescue of the occupants of the canoe after receiving the Tenerife Maritime Rescue Center, at 06:40 hours (Canary Islands time), a notice from the Civil Guard indicating that a possible boat had been detected. or cayuco south of El Hierro.
An hour later, Salvamar confirmed the sighting of the canoe and proceeded to escort it to the port of La Restinga.
