SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 23. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, published a video today, Saturday, in which she wanted to send her most sincere Christmas greetings to all Tenerife residents, whom she invited to look at the future “with enthusiasm and hope.”
In her Christmas message, Rosa Dávila pointed out that it has been a year “of changes and challenges” in which “for the first time in more than 100 years the institution is chaired by a woman” and in which Tenerife “has suffered one of the worst fires that have affected the island in the last 40 years.
However, the president of the Cabildo has highlighted that the “resistance and solidarity” that the people of Tenerife have shown has been testimony to their “collective ability to overcome any obstacle.”
Therefore, on these special dates, he invited the people of Tenerife “to look at the future with optimism, surrounded by their loved ones, sharing endearing moments full of traditions and remembering those who are no longer here.”
Finally, “with an eye toward renewed dreams,” he wished for “a year full of hope to achieve, together, an island of hope.”
