Yesterday the Cabildo opened the doors of the Tenerife Children and Youth Park (PIT) in the Tenerife Fairgrounds, which, once again, returns for Christmas to entertain the whole family.
The president of the Cabildo, Rosa Dávila, and the vice president of the Fairgrounds, Manuel Fernández, accompanied by part of the insular Corporation, inaugurated this event yesterday afternoon, a benchmark in the Canary Islands, which will remain open until next January 5.
Specifically, in this edition more than 18,000 square meters have been set up in the Fairgrounds, housing 35 different play areas, where various recreational, physical and educational activities are offered, to create a quality offer and high added value, which It includes the necessary balance between fun and values, the Cabildo pointed out.
Magic place
This year, in addition, the PIT enters a magical place: training and educational workshops that will reveal the secrets of the great magicians, digital and manual games, which will test the skill and creativity of the participants.
Likewise, like every edition, the park will offer activities for all ages, which will take place in different areas: ice skating rink, sports area, fair attractions, musical and theatrical shows, environmental workshops, makeup, balloon twisting and crafts. , among others.
Regarding schedules, the PIT will remain open on the 23rd, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th of this month, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; on the 24th and 31st, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on the 25th, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the same as on January 1. Likewise, on January 2, 3 and 4, the hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., while on January 5, the PIT will open its doors between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
As for prices, the general entrance to the PIT is ten euros per person per day, which is reduced to five euros in the case of a large family. Likewise, children under three and over 65 years of age are exempt from paying entry, as stated on their website.
