He Santa Cruz City Councilthrough the Southwest district, led by Councilman Javier Rivero, plans to continue this coming weekend with its program of activities related to the Christmas holidays that includes, among others, children’s activities, with workshops and bouncy castles, as well as a Christmas market with crafts and local commerce, which will take place in La Gallega, Santa María del Mar-Los Alisios and Acorán three consecutive weekends full of a varied offer of things to share with the family and support for local local commerce.
This same Saturday, December 23, between 11:00 and 14:00, the central area of the Santa Catalina park, in La Gallega, on Gran Duque street, a fun setup will be installed for the little ones with Christmas workshops and bouncy castles, while there will be, from 9:00 a.m., a craft market and local commerce, where proposals for girls and boys will begin from the first hour; with the presence of Santa Claus at 12:00 p.m., and the parade through the streets, which will begin around 11:30 a.m., an initiative that has the collaboration of the AAVV Guacimara.
For the following Saturday, December 30, the proposals will be installed in the La Estrella park, in Santa María del Mar-Los Alisios, also from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with bouncy castles and themed workshops Christmas for the little ones in the house, an initiative that will take place the following Friday, January 5, in the Plaza Moreiba, in Acorán, its continuity through the Southwest district, also at the same time and with the same theme and attractions for minors and their families.
Finally, from the Southwest district office it is recalled that the Royal Mailboxes are already located to deposit the letters for the Three Wise Men of the East, during this month of December and until the eve of the arrival of Their Majesties, with two of them in Los Majuelos avenue (El Sobradillo area and another in La Gallega area) and one in La Estrella park (Santa María del Mar-Alisios).
