SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Parliament of the Canary Islands concludes in its plenary session tomorrow, Tuesday, scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., the debate on the General Budget Bill of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands for 2024 with the final vote on the regional accounts.

Voting on the amendments, through a block system, will conclude in the first part of the day. In the afternoon we will continue with the questions and the modification of Law 11/1997, of December 2, regulating the Canarian electricity sector, among other matters.

The first Budget Bill of the the Budget and Finance Commission; the first reading debate before the Plenary; the amendments phase, and the constitution of the presentation.

The president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Astrid Pérez, has thanked “the work of the Government of the Canary Islands, of all the parliamentary groups and of the staff and services of the Chamber in the processing of the most important bill of the year, since these accounts “They are those that will mark the day-to-day life of our Archipelago in 2024, in all areas and on all the islands.”

Regional accounts grow by 11% in 2024 and reach 11.3 billion euros, 1.12 billion euros more than in 2022, as reported by the Government of the Canary Islands.
