Metrotenerife acquires three electric vehicles for a more sustainable fleet



Metrotenerife announced this Tuesday that it has renewed its fleet with three electric vehicles for maintenance work, an initiative with which they say they will reinforce their auxiliary service and with which they plan to continue reducing the environmental footprint.

The Archipiélago Renting entity has made the delivery effective, which is added to the 26 Alstom Citadis 302 electric trams, and other auxiliary vehicles, fully electric, that carry out tasks of the company’s maintenance, operation, commercial and project departments.

Regarding the characteristics of the vehicles, Metrotenerife highlights their eco-efficient nature, which contributes to the reduction of emissions and promotes more sustainable transport on the island.

He added that they are equipped with the latest technology for this type of vehicle, and that they offer versatility and capacity to address various maintenance service needs thanks to an adapted design.
