SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Two men were injured this Saturday after the collision that took place between a motorcycle and a van that ended up catching fire on the TF-1, as it passed through the municipality of Guímar (Tenerife).
According to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112, the 50-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious multiple trauma, for which he was assisted by the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital. Our Lady of La Candelaria.
Meanwhile, the driver of the van, 36 years old, had various minor injuries and was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the same hospital.
For their part, members of the Fire Consortium extinguished the fire that started in the van and collaborated in its removal from the road.
Finally, the Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area due to the significant delays caused by the accident and instructed the corresponding procedures.
