What will the weather be like this Saturday in the Canary Islands?

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) announces for this Saturday clear skies, haze, maximum temperatures slightly rising in the western islands and light to moderate southeast wind, which will become stronger with gusts of up to 70 km/h.

Regarding the state of the sea, it announces wind from the east and northeast of force 4 or 5 and locally 6, which will subside in the afternoon or evening, depending on the island, strong seas, which will decrease in rough seas and swells, and variable 2 or 3 with rough seas or swells.

There will be a swell from the north or northeast with waves of around two meters.

The forecast by islands is as follows:

Generally clear skies. Probable haze from the early hours of the morning. Maximum temperatures without changes in general, except in inland areas where slight decreases are expected. Minimums without changes, except in the extreme southwest where they will increase slightly. Light east component wind, moderate on north and south slopes. Breeze regime in extreme west. On summits, from the east moderate with intervals of strong in the late hours.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Moderate southeast wind. It will increase to strong in the west and inland areas from the early hours of the morning, with gusts that will probably reach 70 km/h locally. It is expected to decrease to moderate after dark.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Generally clear, with intervals of high clouds starting in the afternoon. Probable haze from the early hours of the morning. Maximum temperatures in slight decrease. Lows without changes or in slight decrease. Moderate wind from the southeast. It will increase to strong on the coasts and interior of the west starting in the early morning, with gusts that will probably reach 70 km/h locally. It is expected to decrease to moderate after dark.

Probability of gusts that reach 70 km/h locally on the northern slopes and peaks starting at dusk.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife 17 24

Generally clear, with intervals of high clouds starting in the afternoon. Probable haze from the first hours of the day. Temperatures without changes or in slight decrease from the minimums. Light wind of variable direction during the early morning, and that turns moderately southeast from the first hours of the day. On summits, moderate wind from the southeast that turns to the east in the late hours and can be occasionally strong in the central hours.

On summits, moderate wind from the south, which turns to the east at midday.

Santa Cruz de la Palma 15 25

Generally clear, with intervals of high clouds starting in the afternoon. Probable haze from the first hours of the day. Maximum temperatures in slight rise and minimum temperatures in slight descent. Moderate wind from the southeast and weak in inland areas. On summits, moderate wind from the southeast that turns east from midday, and where locally very strong gusts are not ruled out.
