A multiple accident near the TF-1 tunnels leaves four injured



Four people have been injured to various degrees after several passenger cars collided while passing through Güímar (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands.

The events occurred after 6:42 p.m. this Sunday on the TF-1, before the Güímar tunnels, heading south, as it passes through the municipality of Güímar, and the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service moved to the area. (SUC), who upon arriving at the scene treated a 30-year-old man who at the initial time of assistance had moderate multiple contusions, for which he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.

He also treated two young people aged 21 and 20 who, initially, had moderate head trauma, for which they were transferred by ambulance to the Parque Tenerife Hospital.

He also assisted a 53-year-old woman who, at the initial time of assistance, had a mild anxiety crisis, which is why she was transferred by ambulance to the Güímar Health Center.

Members of the Fire Consortium also appeared at the scene of the incident, securing the vehicles and collaborating in removing them from the road, while personnel from the Insular Highway Center proceeded to clean the road.

In addition, Civil Guard agents regulated traffic in the area and carried out the corresponding procedures.
