SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 9. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Villa de Garafía City Council, through the Department of Culture, has launched a series of guided tours to the Roque de Los Muchachos Astrophysical Observatory that will take place every Saturday in the month of December.

The departure will be from 10:00 a.m. at the bus stop of the House of Culture of Santo Domingo and the price of the visit will be 5 euros for residents of Villa de Garafía and 10 euros for residents of the rest. of the island.

The Councilor for Culture, Daina del Arco Iris Sgobino, explained that the objective of this action is “to continue bringing the residents closer to the important scientific projects that the IAC is currently working on and to continue raising awareness about the importance of having a clean and quality night sky so we can continue enjoying it as we know it on Isla Bonita.”

Finally, the Villa de Garafía City Council encourages all residents to participate in this activity scheduled in the Christmas calendar, which will be carried out by Astronorte.
