The City Council of Guimar has publicly denounced “sabotage” to the Christmas tree that is in the Flower Square Township.
It is not the first time this has happened, since it is the second day in a row in which the lights appear turned off by cuts in the cables.
The vandalism against the luminous pine tree, one of the main Christmas attractions of the municipality, has forced municipal technicians to be called to carry out urgent repairs.
The Councilor for Commerce, Haridian Martin, has insisted on the importance of respecting public spaces and transmitting that respect to the community. “We are working to make Güímar look beautiful during these days of activities and events,” she assured.
