Complicated rescue of a paraglider who was left hanging on the edge of a rock in Tenerife



Helicopter members of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands have carried out a complicated rescue of a paraglider that was left hanging on the edge of a rock in the upper part of the Infierno ravine in Adejeon the island of Tenerifeas reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands.

The events occurred on Wednesday afternoon and after being alerted that a paraglider had been left hanging at the top of the aforementioned ravine, in an area that was difficult to access, the helicopter headed to the area where the rescuers descended with the crane. on the back face of the rock so as not to harm the person affected by the impact of the helicopter.

He was then taken to the helisurface of the Tenerife Fire Consortium in Adeje, where an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was waiting and confirmed that the man was unharmed.

Agents from the Local Police also participated in the resolution of the events, who collaborated with the emergency services.
