The company of Social services Of the municipality of Arona (ADESA) has hired through two minor contracts the services of the company Nylten Servicios Contables y Financieros SL, of the former president of the Popular Party of Arona Juan Pablo Morales Rancel, to manage the accounting of the public entity.
The Arona City Council, governed by the PP together with CC and Más por Arona, formalized a first minor contract worth 4,820 euros on August 22 with a duration of four months (until December 2023) under the concept “Accounting review fiscal year 2022 and first semester 2023, budget preparation for 2023, advice, accounting review and presentation of quarterly taxes.”
The second contract of less than 2,439.60 euros also has a duration of 4 months (until December 31) and is given under the concept of “issuance of delinquency reports (monthly and quarterly) and monitoring support to the auditing company for the report.” of fiscal year 2022”. In both cases, the need for the entity to have a company that keeps the accounting for 2022 and the fiscal years of 2022 and the first half of 2023 up to date is specified.
The former president of the PP of Arona published a statement on his Facebook page on September 18 in which he explained that he was resigning as president of the Local Committee of the Popular Party of Arona for “professional reasons” given the “increase in activity” in his dispatch.

The CEO, Pura Martín, points out that: “I did not know any company that could take on the tasks that needed to be carried out and made several inquiries to locate options, including the previous substitute manager in the sources consulted” and adds: “I requested several opinions about that company and they were all favorable, so, after interviewing its manager, I decided to entrust the financial tasks that needed to be resolved urgently.” The organization assures that they have not followed political criteria.
