The program aims to train new teachers in fundamental aspects of the Canary Islands educational system such as the curricula, the structure of the Ministry and the centers, the functions and powers of the different bodies, as well as the teaching staff, among others. .

The updating of teaching staff in new educational methodologies and technologies is another of the actions that are being carried out by the General Directorate of Personnel and Teacher Training, coordinated by Mónica Ramírez.
