Yesterday Plenilunio Santa Cruz closed a weekend of intense cultural and leisure activity in the capital of Tenerife, which thousands of people have enjoyed. This was announced by the mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, who stressed that “from Friday to Sunday the capital hosted an infinite number of activities aimed at all audiences that were a complete success.”
In this sense, the president reported that the three days have taken place completely normally, with a proposal of very high quality content, a diversity of cultural, sports and leisure actions that have energized the city for three days in more than 20 different locations, and from which “commerce and restaurants have also benefited.”
For her part, the CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, reported on the assessment survey carried out by the City Council to the attending public, the results of which “are very good.” Thus, she specified that until 12:00 yesterday, 87% of those surveyed rated the event as ‘good (5)’ or ‘very good (6)’, scores from 1 to 6, where 6 is the highest possible rating.
In addition, of the 601 surveys carried out up to that point, 20.3% responded that it was the first time they attended Plenilunio, “so in this edition we have managed to once again attract an audience that had not come before,” said Pérez. .
Regarding these first assessments, the counselor highlighted that “53% of the public that has attended Plenilunio Santa Cruz resides in the capital of Tenerife, and the rest comes mainly from other municipalities in the metropolitan area, such as La Laguna, Tegueste and El Rosario, while a significant 18.5% do so from other municipalities.”
According to these first results “it can be said that Plenilunio Santa Cruz continues to maintain a high rating among citizens, also attracting an important group of audiences from other areas of Tenerife and also people who had never come to this event before,” he said. Perez.
The counselor said that it had been “an intense weekend, with activities for the whole family where culture, leisure, sports and gastronomy were the protagonists.”

The Guimerá Theater hosted the Morimoto Sisters concert, in the same location where the tango exhibition by Andrés Leoni took place at noon, and the little ones had their space in the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena where a children’s play center was organized with children’s workshops and inflatable attractions.
