San Miguel releases 5,000 20 euro vouchers in the commercial campaign

The San Miguel de Abona City Council, in collaboration with FAUCA, presented on Friday the ‘I buy in San Miguel’ consumer voucher campaign that will begin tomorrow and end on January 20, 2024.

There will be a total of 5,000 vouchers of 20 euros each, of which 10 euros will be contributed by the City Council and up to a maximum of 5 vouchers per person.

“With this consumer bonus campaign we intend to help small businesses and also consumers make Christmas purchases in our municipality,” says the mayor, Arturo González.

The mayor of Commerce Sergio Martín “invites all businesses in the municipality to participate in this campaign, for which a sum of 70,000 euros has been enabled as a clear commitment to the small businesses of San Miguel.”

For his part, Abbas Moujir, president of FAUCA, congratulated the City Council for this initiative that is having such good results in other municipalities.

That same day, the lighting was officially switched on and a spectacular Municipal Nativity Scene was inaugurated. The municipality reinforces the lighting of public spaces with some 810 motifs and decorations, some of them even in 3D format, and four large photocalls.

Also on Friday, the traditional lighting of the Santiago del Teide Christmas luminary took place in the Plaza Buganvilla de Los Gigantes, in which the Santiago del Teide Lions Club participated and was attended by a large crowd of people, at the beginning of the activities. festive events and activities planned by the city council for this Christmas.

The mayor, Emilio Navarro and members of the Lions Club were in charge of lighting the Christmas luminary, which was attended by different members of the Government group. The program included a performance by singer Miriam Bienes and a performance by the Mlou Gospel Choir.
