The Socialist group in the Cabildo of Tenerife has criticized this Friday the “illegality” that in its opinion has entailed approving the budgets for 2024 in the island corporation without first giving the green light to the staff of the institution, autonomous organizations and public entities dependents.
Likewise, the PSOE of Tenerife has said that this was the first time that the initial approval of the 2024 accounts has been submitted to the plenary session without including the initial approval of the aforementioned personnel templates, the four autonomous bodies. and its two public business entities.
The budgets of the Cabildo de Tenerife 2024 were approved this Monday with the vote in favor of CC, PP and Voxwhile this Thursday the PSOE presented an amendment to all the approval files for the templates in question.
The political group includes in the amendment the files that correspond to the Insular Music Board (PIM), the Autonomous Organization of Museums and Centers (OAMC), Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA) and Balsas de Tenerife (Balten).
The PSOE of Tenerife has added that it will also present an amendment to the entire approval files of the templates for the 2024 financial year of the Cabildo of Tenerife itself, the Insular Institute of Social and Socio-Sanitary Care of Tenerife (IASS) and the Insular Council of Aguas de Tenerife (CIATF).
The Socialist group has reaffirmed that the approval of the 2024 budget has meant a breach of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Regime (LBRL) and article 126.1 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/ 1986, April 18.
Likewise, it points out that approving the workforce after the budget can produce “circumstances of inconsistency”, in addition to some jobs being left without budgetary coverage and “serious” problems occurring in the management of human resources and the entities associated with the Cabildo.
In short, the Socialist group alludes to a “legal uncertainty” when developing policies and programs.
