The lawyer Miguel Cabrera Pérez-Camacho has resigned this Friday as president of the Tenerife Casino so that the entity “is not harmed” as a result of the judicial investigation opened for an alleged sexual assault on a student at the University’s Faculty of Law. from La Laguna.
The resignation comes hours after the ULL announced the temporary cessation of Pérez-Camacho’s teaching activity and the opening of a disciplinary file for alleged sexual abuse of a student. In addition, the academic center has appointed an instructor for the case, despite the fact that the alleged attack occurred in his house and not in University facilities.
