During the early hours of this Friday, December 1, members of Tenerife firefighters from the La Orotava park, in the north of Tenerife, rescued to two people who were in the vicinity of the upper station of the Teide cable car.
Those affected had hypothermia and dehydration, as indicated by the Tenerife Fire Department in their X profile.

The rescue lasted approximately eight hours.
These days the temperatures have dropped a lot in the El Teide area as a result of the passage of a atlantic front which has left storms and abundant rain on the island.
Furthermore, this Friday they were found two corpses in the mountain of the National Parkin the Pico Viejo area.
