Civil Guard agents belonging to the Buenavista del Norte Post (Tenerife) have arrested a 35-year-old man accused of shooting and killing a pregnant dog with ten puppies with a crossbow arrow.
Specifically, this resident of the municipality of Los Silos is accused of committing five crimes of animal abuse, four of them aggravated resulting in death and one resulting in injuries, as well as a crime against public order.
The investigation began after Civil Guard agents learned of the publication on a well-known social network of images in which a female dog was seen injured with what appeared to be an arrow. The detainee would also have injured another dog that fled with the same weapon.
