The tragic incident occurred at kilometer point 17.4 in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, shortly before 7:00 a.m. According to the same source, the victim was 20 years old.
He Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert about a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle at the address mentioned above. As a result of this incident, another vehicle collided from behind. The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, moving to the TF-5 highway. However, unfortunately, the man lost his life as a result of the impact.
