The music band that made everyone dance at La Laguna’s Noche en Blanco: “My goodness, they are so good”

The fifteenth edition of The White Night of La Laguna yesterday brought together thousands of people in the streets of the historic center. According to the latest estimate given by the Local Police, some 120,000 people They enjoyed the most important event of the year in the municipality.

From children’s entertainment to nighttime concerts with Marta Sánchez, Carlos Baute and Merche as protagonists, there were options for the enjoyment of all audiences.

Among all the activities, there was one that captured the attention and joy of all audiences. Thousands of people danced to the music of 101 Brass Banda band from the north of Tenerife that made the attendees enjoy giving them a shot of energy.

The group made everyone, from children to the elderly, dance to the rhythm of such well-known songs as stayby Quevedo; Everybody of the Backstreet Boys or Freed From Desire.

“Those in the orange shirt” did not leave anyone indifferent. Social networks have been filled with videos of the performances in the street and hundreds of comments praise the joy and energy that the White Night made vibrate. “The people behind them everywhere”, “My goodness, they are so good”, “The best of the night”, “It was incredible to see them”, are some of the praises that the members of 101 Brass Band.

101 Brass Band

101 Brass Band was born in Tenerife at the beginning of 2014, taking as a reference Balkan, South American and American metal groups, always under the motto of making people enjoy and transmitting all the energy possible to the public.

The band, known among its numerous followers as “La 101”, owes its name to a well-known bus line in the north of the Island that connects the municipalities of La Orotava and La Laguna, stopping in all the towns along the way.

He has achieved success throughout the national and international territory, and participated in renowned festivals representing the Canary Islands. She won the 2nd prize for best national charanga twice at the National Festival of Charangas and Fanfarres Poza de la Sal (Burgos), in addition to the prize for best soloist. At the Walking Street Susic within the Andorra Sax Fest he was proclaimed the winner of the festival, the audience award and the award for the best musician of the festival.

They perform both on stages and in the streets, always aiming to make the entire audience have fun. Something that, without a doubt, they achieved yesterday in La Laguna.
