A paraglider was moderately injured this Sunday after falling to the ground in the south of Tenerife. The accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. next to the TF-1 exit in Piedra Hincada, in the municipality of Guía de Isora.
The victim is a 36-year-old man who, at the initial time of assistance, had moderate trauma, for which he was transferred in a sanitized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to Hospiten Sur.
The Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert requesting health assistance for an injured paraglider, so it immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The SUC health personnel assisted the injured man and took him to a hospital.
