The fifteenth edition of the Night On White It is already underway in different parts of the historic center of La Laguna. The inauguration of this event with leisure, entertainment, culture and commerce has brought together thousands of people from the first hour in the scene of La Concepción to open the way for a broad agenda of events, lasting fifteen hours, which will continue Until sunrise.
The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, recalled that “this magical Noche en Blanco 2023 is a date marked on the calendar for many people from our island and other parts of the Canary Islands, who choose us for the great offer of exhibitions, attractions, art, sports, music, gastronomy and numerous activities designed for all audiences.”
“In short, it is a day to enjoy a municipality and a city decorated since last night, thanks to the magnificent lighting of our Christmas lighting, which has been so well received by the citizens,” added the first mayor.
After the opening of the event, it was the turn of the first activity planned for the family audience. On the same stage of La Concepción, the children’s performance by the Cantajuego Company and its show ‘El circo del Payaso Tallarín’ was offered.
At the same time, at 11:00 a.m., the Inclusive Area aimed at all audiences, especially intended to serve all diversities, was inaugurated in the Plaza Junta Suprema.
The Motor Zone in Plaza del Cristo also started this morning, a large exhibition of old and modern vehicles, which can be visited until 5:00 p.m. Likewise, the programming of the Sports Area on San Agustín Street began, which will combine traditional and popular Canarian games with other modalities such as skateboarding, basketball, tennis, minigolf, dancing, dance and endless proposals.
