The Therapeutic Theater Laboratory (LTT) invites the Tenerife public to reflect with Carnival, a proposal that addresses the transformation of the being, the falsehoods and the masks that hide the true interior. During the performance, the eight actors will enter the fake following LTT’s objective of strengthening self-esteem and self-observation.

Christmas Prelude

The Christmas Prelude, organized annually by the Three Wise Men of Tejina Cultural Association, has become an important event in the municipality’s cultural calendar. At the event they will present the poster announcing the traditional Auto de Reyes and will pay tribute to the San Sebastián de Tejina Cultural Group with performances by cellist Ciro Hernández and the Unión Artística el Cabo rondalla.

The Convent of Santo Domingo hosts a conference that will bring together researchers from different areas of the study of cultural heritage. During the week, they will address issues related to religious and festive identities, the influence of the indigenous world, the impact of historical emigration or the presence of epigraphic heritage.

Memento mori. The meaning of death in the Canary Islands

The exhibition tries to cover, in a didactic way, the different ways in which the Canarians have faced death throughout history. The artists compile points of view and traditions as diverse as music, popular lyrics, religion or gastronomy.
