He Don Bosco Youth Center of Salesians La Cuesta hosts the First Murgas Solidarity Festival tomorrow, at 8:30 p.m., the proceeds of which will go to the program Buzzetti of the Don Bosco Salesianos Social Foundation to help homeless youth.

The event will have a symbolic price of 3 euros and tickets can be purchased at the center, according to Francisco Padrón, one of the organizers of the event. The participating murgas will be Triqui Traquitos, Triqui Traques, Dissimulados, Tras con Tras and the Mamelukes.

Padrón pointed out that the objective is “to help young people with difficulties in accessing housing and a job”, which is why the Foundation currently manages 7 autonomous apartments and two educational support projects serving more than 40 young people on the Island.
