La Laguna will celebrate this Saturday, November 25, a new edition of its popular Noche en Blanco, “the most spectacular in its history,” according to the mayor of the municipality, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez.

The fifteenth edition of this event will begin at 11:00 am and will last until dawn with an unprecedented musical line-up made up of artists of the stature of Marta Sánchez, Carlos Baute, Merche, Blas Cantó and El Vega Life.

Bouncy castles and mechanical attractions

This year, family programming will be divided into two time slots. The first section, which will go from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., will start with the opening ceremony of La Noche en Blanco 2023 and the show ‘El Circo del Payaso Tallarín’, by the Cantajuego company.

San Agustín Street will focus on sports, while Nava and Grimón and Heraclio Sánchez streets will have bouncy castles, games, thematic workshops and other shows. The third children’s area, in Doctor Olivera Square, will have mechanical attractions.

Inclusive spaces and ice rink

The Inclusive Area will be held in the Plaza de la Junta Supremo, which will offer workshops, talks, games, giant chess and many activities aimed at all audiences, but especially aimed at serving all diversities. In addition, there will be a performance by the well-known rapper El Langui starting at 4:30 p.m.

The second family time slot will also begin at 11:00 a.m., but will extend until 11:00 p.m. This section brings new experiences such as ‘Christmas in the Cathedral’, which will include the installation of an ice rink; ‘The Jurassic Lagoon’, in Hermano Ramón Square; or the Super Hero Expo, an exhibition of superheroes for lovers of the Marvel and DC universes, which will be displayed in the House of Captains.

Night programming

The activities planned at night will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last until 2:00 a.m. Like every edition, there will be no shortage of music, which this year will have three different areas:

  • Popstar Stage, in the La Concepción area
  • Retro Stage, for lovers of eighties and nineties music, in the Court parking lot
  • Stage of Los40 Sustainable Sounds, in the Plaza del Cristo

Recognizable artists such as Marta Sánchez, Carlos Baute, Merche, Blas Cantó, Las K-Narias or El Vega Life will perform on these three stages. Likewise, there will be a great representation of Canarian talents.

There will be surprises?

The Lagunera councilor responsible for Commerce, Leticia Villegas, has assured that not all the events of LNB 2023 are reflected in the official program, “to reserve some surprise for all citizens who decide to enjoy this fifteenth edition live.”

The complete program is available on the La Laguna City Council website. https://www.aytolalaguna.es/ and on the event’s specific website https://lanocheenblanco.aytolalaguna.es/

Violet and Orange Dots

Coinciding with the 25N, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, at 1:00 p.m. the ‘Live and Free’ manifesto will be read in the Plaza de La Concepción. Next, the musical show ‘Violetas’ will take place.

Likewise, three Violet Points will be available with information of interest and advice to assist possible victims. They will be located in the Plaza del Cristo, between 5:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.; and the squares of La Concepción and Adelantado, in both cases between 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.

An Orange Point will also be located in the Plaza de la Junta Supremo from 11:00 a.m., adapted to citizens with disabilities. The facility will have barrier-free spaces, sensitive backpacks to transform music into vibrations, accompaniment service and sign language interpreters.

How to go to the White Night of La Laguna?

The La Laguna City Council has established a free shuttle service that will directly connect the parking lots of the Alcampo La Laguna Shopping Center with the La Laguna Interchange from 3:30 p.m. to 3:20 a.m.

Likewise, Titsa will reinforce the usual departures of lines 014 and 015 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-La Laguna Interchange) with 14 trips in each direction from 4:45 p.m. to 5:20 a.m. on Sunday the 26th.

For its part, line 104 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Puerto de la Cruz via Tacoronte Interchange) will have extra departures from the La Laguna Interchange at 01:00, 02:25 and 03:45 hours.
