A man of foreign nationality has died after suffering cardiorespiratory arrest while bathing on a beach in La Orotava, on the island of Tenerife, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred on Monday afternoon on Los Patos beach in the aforementioned municipality, a place where the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) went after being alerted that they had rescued a bather who was stopped from the water. cardiorespiratory and they were giving him first aid.
Once at the scene, the health personnel continued with resuscitation maneuvers but to no avail, so they could only confirm the death of this person.
Members of the Tenerife firefighters, as well as Civil Protection, Local Police and Civil Guard, also participated in the resolution of the incident, and carried out the judicial proceedings.
