The Cabildo of Tenerife will make detours on the Southern Highway (TF-1) to replace several sections of low-voltage overhead lines. To minimize traffic disruption, the work will be carried out at night.
The works, promoted by E- Distribución Redes Digitales SLU, will consist of the replacement of several sections of power lines due to their poor condition in the Tajao area.
The restitution work will be spread over two days. Thus, the first of them, on the night of November 21 to 22, 2023, with a total traffic cut of seven minutes to dismantle the air circuit (the three phases simultaneously), which cross kilometer points 39+450 of the TF -1 and kilometer point 1+710 of the TF-631 that connects the towns of Abades, La Jaca and La Listada with San Miguel de Tajao de Abona in the coastal area of the municipality of Arico.
The second day of work will be the night of November 23 to 24, 2023, to replace the three phases of the new circuit to be installed, so three total traffic cuts of seven minutes each will be carried out, with an interval of one hour between each of the cuts.
The work schedule, including signage, will be between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., proceeding, at this last hour, with the removal of signage and definitive reestablishment of traffic on the TF-1 in both directions.
