SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 62-year-old man has died and another 52-year-old man has been seriously injured after being run over at around 8:30 a.m. this Saturday when a car left the road on the TF-281, which connects El Volcán and La Hidalga, within the municipality. from Arafo (Tenerife).
According to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) went to the scene and had to confirm the death of one of the men due to injuries incompatible with life.
Meanwhile, health personnel assisted the other victim, who suffered serious multiple trauma, for which he was stabilized and transferred by medical ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.
For her part, the driver of the vehicle had to be treated by SUC personnel when she had an anxiety crisis, and was taken to a hospital, in this case by her family.
Finally, the Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.
