A forum unites local companies and technology giants to start businesses

He highlighted the Investment Forum that will allow ten start-ups from here, “technological companies that have been born from PCTT initiatives, to have the opportunity to find financing to carry out their projects.” Martínez highlighted the “importance” of Tenerife hosting this initiative “to place ourselves on the map of technological events” and “to be the headquarters of the sector’s debate on digital transformation and sustainable development.” The president of the Cabildo, Rosa Davilacontributed that “one objective is to position the Island as a top-level destination and technological enclave, promoting local talent and promoting the professional ecosystem in the innovation and technology sector.”

On the opening day, focused on the Innovation Forum and called Omnia Business Day, prestigious international companies such as Gartner, Aruba, UiPath and Grupo TRC participated. The vice president of Gartner EXP (Executive Program), Jordi Escalé, participated; the commercial director of Public Administration of UiPath, Luis Losada; the Aruba Southern Europe Business Development Manager, Alberto Pérez; and the security advisor at the TRC Group, Emilio Rico.

The two days of the weekend to analyze the creative industry on the Island will be divided into three large blocks: Innovation Forum, Innovation Observatory and Investment Forum.
