The City Council of Santiago del Teide with the objective of defraying part of the expenses generated by participation in official regional, regional, national and international competitions of individual athletes residing in the municipality of the Historical Village of Santiago del Teide has taken out a line of subsidies for this purpose that has a budget item of €20,000.
In this sense, in general, those sporting events that are included in the annual calendar of the corresponding sports federation will be considered official competitions.
Individual athletes registered in the municipality with a minimum of one year of seniority, who have a valid license in the corresponding sports federation for the season indicated in each call and that participate in official competitions, among other requirements, established in the regulatory bases.
The application as well as the bases of said call is available on the electronic headquarters https://sede.santiagodelteide.es and in the municipal registry offices (town hall and Playa de La Arena).
Interested persons must present the required documentation at said registry offices as well as through the electronic headquarters, for which they must have a digital certificate.
