Tenerife firefighters rescue a hiker who was injured after a fall in La Guancha



This Thursday, Tenerife firefighters rescued a 50-year-old hiker injured with moderate trauma to her leg after suffering a fall in La Guancha.

The events occurred at 12:20 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert requesting health assistance for a hiker who had suffered a fall and could not continue the hike.

Firefighters carried out the rescue and took the hiker to an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) that evacuated her to Hospiten Bellevue.
