SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Tenerife will host the ‘Live Fashion Hair Awards’ event from November 18 to 21, an initiative from the hairdressing and aesthetics sector that will bring together the best international specialists at the Tenerife Adán Martín Auditorium.
The event has the collaboration of the Association of Hairdressers and Beauty of the Canary Islands (Aspebecan) and the Cabildo of Tenerife and will bring together 625 collections from 29 countries.
The presentation event held this Thursday was attended by the Minister of Employment and Education, Efraín Medina; the Minister of Commerce and Business Support, Krysten Martín; the president of the Canary Islands Hairdressers and Beauty Association, Cristo Delgado; the director of ‘Live Fashion Hair’, Orlando Martín and the international artist, ‘influencer’, creator of Sharp Fade and Rise of Hair and global artistic director of Wahl Pro and partner of Booksy International, Byrd Mena.
Medina indicated the importance of recovering this event for Tenerife and explained that a sector like fashion “cannot be understood without aesthetics and hairdressing, so talking about the textile sector is also talking about professions that have to be understood.”
The counselor also indicated the efforts of the organizers “to grant 250 scholarships to students so that they can train and learn from the best international specialists.”
For her part, Krysten Martín assured that this is one of the “best national and international experiences” and that it promotes the island “through the best world artists, turning Tenerife into the epicenter of hairdressing and beauty.”
The counselor, who also pointed out the economic impact of this awards ceremony, highlighted that collaboration between areas “has been essential.”
Orlando Martín stressed that “the international nature of the event is not only given by its guests, but also because the Canarian product has a global impact,” while Cristo Delgado thanked the Cabildo for its efforts to carry out this event “from which 250 will benefit.” students from the island’s training centers”.
Byrd Mena, an ‘influencer’ living in Orlando, said that the goal is to “inspire and motivate” attendees and confessed that “it is a blessing to see the growth of hairdressing on an island like Tenerife.”
On November 19, the international awards ceremony will take place at the Adán Martín Auditorium of Tenerife, where the best specialists in the six categories will be awarded and a ‘Secret show party with Live ambassadors’ will be held in a secret location.
On November 20, a ‘masterclass’ will be held where Byrd Mena (United States), Joel Torres (United States), Stevie English (Australia), X-Presion (Spain), Pablo Bogado (Spain), Igor Hayevyk (Spain) will participate. , Alan Beak (United Kingdom) and Josh Lamonaca (United Kingdom).
