Arrested in Tenerife for committing 50 crimes, including two attempts to run over civil guards



The Civil Guard Command Santa Cruz of Tenerife has proceeded to the arrest of the three authors of various crimes that occurred during the night of October 10 in Candelaria.

Those arrested are accused of committing 50 crimesincluding two attempts to run over civil guards, in addition to the theft of eight vehicles, robberies, injuries and damage to twelve vehicles.

The criminal acts were detected by Civil Guard agents, most of them consisting of robberies with force inside vehicles on public roads.

When the alleged criminals realized the police presence, they began to flee in a stolen vehicle, with a civil guard having to get out of the way on the road after trying to be hit while fleeing.

The agents were able to arrest one of the alleged criminals, with two others fleeing the scene. That same afternoon, after having located the driver of the vehicle that had fled in a Santa Cruz neighborhood, he again tried to run over another agent while fleeing.

With the corresponding judicial authorization, an entry and search was carried out at the home of two of those involved, proceeding to their arrest and investigation; to bring them to justice.

As a result of the entry and search, various objects could be recovered, which suggested that they could be stolen in other crimes committed by the accused, so the investigators began the appropriate procedures with other Civil Guard Posts, as well as other police forces. in order to identify the objects found in the house, giving a positive result, and so far being able to give eight people their belongings.

The alleged perpetrators are accused of committing various crimes: 28 crimes of robbery with force inside vehicles that were parked in various areas of the municipalities of Güimar, Candelaria and El Rosario, eight crimes of theft of use of vehicles, two serious crimes of attack against a law enforcement officer, injuries and crimes of damage to twelve vehicles.
