The highway in the south of Tenerife, the TF-1, suffered a major traffic jam this Thursday morning in the direction of Güímar after the accident of a vehicle, which overturned on the road, and in which a second car was involved. .
The queues after the accident, which occurred around 7:00 a.m. near Candelaria, have lasted for more than two hours.
As indicated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2), the person who was driving the overturned car managed to get out on his own and had no injuries. In the other car, which collided with the first, a woman was evaluated by the health services at the scene, but she had no injuries, so she did not need to be referred to any health center.
After 9:00 a.m. the queues still continued in the south direction.
