Agatha Christie’s biographer, at the festival that Tenerife dedicates to the writer



Dr. John Curran, Agatha Christie biographerwill participate in the ninth edition of the festival that Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife) dedicated to the famous English novelist, from November 13 to 19.

Also attending will be Mark Aldridge, a historian specialized in the world of Agatha Christie, the English writer Andrew Wilson, who precisely set one of his last works in Puerto de la Cruz, Matt Newbury, director of the Agatha Christie Festival, in Torquay, birthplace of the novelist, and Jana Ohnesorg, president of the writer’s fan club in the Czech Republic.

The national representation will be held by Juan Cruz Ruiz, José Luis Correa, Javier Rivero Grandoso, Eduardo García Rojas and Miguel Aguerralde, who will participate in a tribute to the Gran Canarian Alexis Ravelo, a reference in crime novels who died last January.

The festival programme, which commemorates Agatha Christie’s visit to the tourist city, includes screenings of films in their original versions, concerts, exhibitions, guided and dramatized routes, workshops, gastronomic activities and tastings, among other activities aimed at all audiences.
