A canoe arrived this Thursday at the port of La Restinga, in El Pinar (El Hierro), with 80 people on board plus one deceased, sources from 112 Canarias report.
The boat was located in the south of the island by a Civil Guard patrol boat and the migrants, 74 men and six women, all of sub-Saharan origin, have been treated at the dock by members of the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the Red Cross.
