‘Exposaldo’ opens its doors in Tenerife with more than 120 companies and 12,000 square meters of commercial exhibition

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Tenerife Cabildo inaugurated this Wednesday the seventeenth edition of ‘Exposaldo’, which will remain at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds until November 12.

The opening ceremony was attended by the vice president of the Cabildo, Lope Afonso, the vice president of the Fairgrounds, Manuel Fernández and the Minister of Commerce, Krysten Martín, who were accompanied by authorities from the Santa Cruz City Council, as well as representatives of the business sector. and commercial of Tenerife.

Lope Afonso said during his speech that “events like this show the commitment of the island government to the commercial sector of Tenerife and the clear commitment to a model of support for business, commerce and job creation.”

Along these lines he appealed to “the need for the public administration to align itself with private initiative, with the aim of launching actions that make us a useful tool for economic revitalization.”

For his part, the vice president of the Fairgrounds, Manuel Fernández, highlighted that “this fair has become, over the years, a benchmark in the archipelago,” adding that Exposaldo meets the objectives of one of the lines of work that have been marked for this mandate, “which consists of the promotion of trade, as the basis of Tenerife’s productive fabric.”

Fernández highlighted that “in the coming days, Santa Cruz de Tenerife will become the epicenter of commerce on the island, with a fair that aims to promote and support the main generators of employment and wealth, and who make up the majority of the productive fabric, the self-employed, professionals and small and medium-sized businesses”.

‘Exposaldo 2023’ will be held in its traditional format, with different areas and for 5 days, becoming the largest event in the Canary Islands dedicated to the sale of clearance products, offers, final auctions and balances.

In total more than 120 companies, distributed in 180 stands, will participate in this fair, which has been consolidated over the years, and more than 35,000 people are expected to attend.

Exposaldo will have three differentiated exclusive areas: the Used Vehicle Market, MotoBox and Special Home Zone, in an area of ​​12,000 square meters.
