SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government of the Canary Islands, through the General Directorate of Emergencies, has ended the rain alert situation in the municipalities affected by the Tenerife fire.
Specifically, this decision affects El Rosario, Tacoronte, El Sauzal, La Matanza de Acentejo, La Victoria de Acentejo, Santa Úrsula, La Orotava and Los Realejos.
The pre-alert for the same phenomenon is also ended in the rest of the island of Tenerife, as well as in La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and Gran Canaria as of 2:00 p.m. today, Monday.
This decision is made taking into account the information provided by the State Meteorological Agency and other available sources, and in application of the Specific Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands for Risks of Adverse Meteorological Phenomena (PEFMA).
