VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Nov. 7 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A cayuco with 49 migrants of sub-Saharan origin arrived this Tuesday at the port of La Restinga, in El Hierro, according to sources from 112 Canarias, who specify that the boat was sighted by Salvamento Marítimo a few miles from the island.
After being treated by the health team on the same dock, none of the migrants – including two alleged minors – were referred to the island hospital.
This is the second canoe to arrive in the archipelago this Wednesday after another with 35 migrants on board was rescued in the waters south of Tenerife.
