The waves in Tenerife force the rescue of several people affected by sea strikes

Despite repeated warnings, pre-alerts and yellow notices, the strong waves have caused several incidents on different islands this weekend. In Tenerife, emergency teams had to rescue several people in the last few hours.

The first rescue occurred on the Red Beach of El Sauzal, where the GES helicopter evacuated a 23-year-old man without injuries. In addition, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated another man with erosions who did not require transfer to a health center.

The second rescue occurred in the natural pools of Isla Cangrejo, in Santiago del Teide, where a 26-year-old man was rescued by the GES helicopter and transferred to the helicopter base in La Guancha, where an SUC ambulance was located. took charge of his care and transfer to the Hospital del Norte.

In addition, the SUC staff treated five other affected people, two men aged 24 and 26, and three women, two aged 25 and the third aged 61, who were transferred to the Alcalá Health Center and Hospiten Sur.

Members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium, Maritime Rescue, as well as agents from the Local Police and the Civil Guard also participated in the resolution of these incidents, who took charge of the proceedings.
