SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Department of Crafts of the Cabildo of La Palma has called for new tests to professionalize the sector, through obtaining the card that qualifies people who develop various trades as recognized professionals in the same.
The president of the Cabildo, Sergio Rodríguez, highlighted the commitment of the government team “with this area that is part of the Palm idiosyncrasy” and defended “the need to continue promoting its specialization and recognition as a profession to guarantee the quality of its products, as well as such as generational change, which is fundamental”.
In this sense, the counselor of the Area, Pablo Díaz Cobiella, explained that the next call will take place on November 21 at 9:00 a.m. at the Insular School of Crafts of Villa de Mazo. “We want the number of crafts professionals on our island to continue growing because we are convinced that we have a lot of talent in various crafts,” he said.
People interested in participating in this test must submit their application along with the required documentation before November 9 through the website www.artesaniadelapalma.com or through electronic office https://sedeelectronica.cabildodelapalma.es and in person, with an appointment, in the Citizen Service registries of Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Llanos de Aridane, in the Agrarian Extension Agency of San Andrés y Sauces or in the Crafts Service.
